Millions of lives and billions of rupees could be saved if people are aware of utilizing right type of health facility at right time. Benefits of modern health care have not yet penetrated the social periphery. In this context, the management of the college has facilitated health care services to the underprivileged sectors at reasonable cost through Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan rural health training centre, Senjeri and Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan urban health training centre, Perambalur. Besides, Students of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan college of Nursing availing on hands training on public health through government Primary health centres located at Ammapalayam, Thuraimangalam, Valikandapuram and Elambalur. Students actively participate in immunization program, school health program, awareness program and special clinics initiated by the government of India in preventing many communicable and Non- Communicable diseases.
